Mr. Bruce Weinert is a strong supporter of infrastructure renewal and development in Ogbona Secondary School. He has donated close to One Million Five hundred thousand Naira to various initiatives in the School.
Mr. Weinert, a colleague of our Board Chairwoman Mrs. Joan Egwuonwu is the Manager, Forfeited Corporate Property in the Ontario Public Service. He is experienced in Corporate Finance, Realty Strategies, Legislative Development and Corporate Stakeholder Management. Bruce has served on several Catholic not-for-profit Boards, using his experiences in board governance, fundraising and relationship management to further their goals. He has organized and lead several youth pilgrim groups to World Youth Days from 2000 to 2016 in various countries around the world. Bruce holds a Master of Arts in International Politics as well as an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in International Politics and French from the University of Western Ontario. He is a recipient of various awards and recognitions including, the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, EDDIE Award for Innovation 2016 MEDEI Employee Recognition Award, 2016 OPS Green Award Partnership Appreciation MGCS Green Office and Synergy Award 2011 MOI Employee Star Recognition Award. Bruce enjoys travelling, reading a good mystery, and doing family genealogy research.
