The first Phase of OSSO@45 Anniversary Free Eye Screening and Free Prescription Glasses was held on Friday, November 7th, 2025.
Over 250 Eye Exams were conducted, mostly among those believed to have vision challenges. From the Tests conducted, over 80 Students and Staff were recommended for Prescription Glasses.
Vision Wellness Talk was delivered by the Head Optometrist, Edo State University Teaching Hospital, Auchi, Dr David Obasohan.
Vital Health Checks were conducted by a team of 10 Nurses led by the Matron, CHC, UBTH, Ogbona.
Edo State Commissioner of Health represented by Zonal Coordinator, Edo North, and senior level Representatives from the State Secondary Education Board (SSEB) and State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB,) delivered Speeches by the Executive Chairmen of both SSEB and SUBEB.

#Free Eye Tests and Free Prescription Glasses
As part of the Gala & Awards Night which was held on Saturday, December 27th, 2025, to commemorate the Two Day Anniversary Celebrations, over 80 Students and Staff of Ogbona Secondary School School received their Prescription Glasses.
This Give Back Initiative was sponsored by Ogbona Secondary School ALumni Association & Ogbona Senior Secondary School Management Board (SMB).
